I’m Socked!

Day 2 of trying to knit socks like Mim.
(not that I could ever do it as well as she, but I can try!)

Ribbing part done: Changed pattern and did a normal 1×1 rib instead of the 1×1 twisted rib.
1/2 of first pattern repeat finished. Yarn looks like it’s changing colors alot more often in the picture than it does in real life. I’m hoping it won’t be to much and the pattern will show through.

Looks nice so far. I was wondering before why you would use 10 needles! Now I get it.

It’s true, that Mim is amazing.

  3. Well, hello! I didn’t realize we had another Utah blogger. You should join the Ewe-tah Knits ring. The link is on my sidebar!

  4. Yay! It’s fun to knit them in a race, I think. I’m working on another pair right now, but I only have 1 skein of yarn, and I forgot to wind it into a centerpull before I started, so if I try to work from the outside of the ball at this point, it may not work so well. I’m still tempted to start the other one right now though… even though the first is already past the heell turn.
