It’s time to Celebrate!

Some of you have been wondering about that ‘news’ I spoke about over a month ago. It was a long 2 months but finally I have good news.

My husband has a Job!

Jesus honored the cry of my husband’s heart and we are staying in Logan. My husband teaches Sunday School here at Maranatha Baptist Church.  Last year began a 7 year walk through the Bible. He asked God to give him 7 years so he could continue to teach his class. He loves those that he teaches. It looks like perhaps he’ll get those 6 more years afterall.

We just didn’t believe it could happen.  His job was ending in July and there was very little hope that another job in Logan, Utah would come his way. But it did! He’s now the liason for the Utah National Guard at USU working as a GIS tech. (or is that specialist, I get confused) He’ll be involved in mapping, data bases and other fancy things that I probably won’t really understand.

So that’s our good news.  We are very happy.  I never thought I’d consider Logan Utah home, but over the 8 years we’ve been here, I can’t imagine living elsewhere.  I know God is going to bring great changes to this mountain valley and I am feeling blessed to be a part of it.

Well, on the Knitting news. If you are on Ravelry you can download all my free patterns instantly. If you aren’t on ravelry, it’s going to take me a bit to get them up on the blog.  Patterns available are: 4 hats (Scrappy Gems, Elongated Knit, Vyridia, Ball Band Toddler) and 1 Shawl (Sunset Trail) . Ready when Ravelry is is the 2 looming patterns (Sierra Flame, and Keani Waves) but their ‘for sale’ part isn’t quite up yet.

I’m Ladydove there.

I created another new hat pattern

Scrappy Gems Fair Isle Hat

(opens up the PDF if you have ravelry.)

Hope you enjoy and join the celebration with us!
